Cleveland, Ohio

CT Consultants provided engineering design services to the City of Cleveland for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Fulton Road.  0.37 miles of Fulton Road from Deinson Avenue to Bush Avenue included pavement rehabilitation and resurfacing, minor widening with concrete base to accomodate a new 5′ bikelane on each side of the roadway, new curb, sidewalks and driveways, drainage improvements, new traffic signals, signs and pavement markings.  0.92 miles of Fulton Road from Bush Avenue to Clark Avenue included full depth reconstruction including new concrete pavement and curb, sidewalks and driveways, drainage improvements, new traffic signals, signs and pavement markings.

The design process for the Fulton Road project began with the development of conceptual aesthetic/green enhancements for the crosswalks, sidewalks, intersections, median islands, treelawns and bike lanes.  The alternative elements were identified with pros and cons along with associated costs.  These items were reviewed with the City before the start of preliminary design.
