The City of Westerville determined that roadway, stormwater, and waterline improvements and sanitary sewer repairs were needed to improve the West Park Street neighborhood area which is adjacent to Otterbein University.
CT Consultants provided professional engineering services for preliminary and final design engineering. Preliminary engineering included review of existing documents and reports for this area, and the performance of hydraulic and hydrologic analyses. Based on this information, CT then prepared construction documents for the construction of approximately 1,100 feet of roadway and storm sewer design. To retain site aesthetics, the design included brick street pavement replacement with a curb and guttered concrete base, capped with brick pavers. In addition, 870 feet of an 8-inch water main was relocated and 1000 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer was rehabilitated. Also pedestrian safety improvements were incorporated into the design.
