CT Consultants Inc., headquartered in Mentor, Ohio, continues to advance its growth strategy through the addition of staff and market services. The company founded in 1922 provides comprehensive civil engineering services. Today, the growing civil engineering company announces the merger of EG&G Inc. located in Fairlawn, Ohio. With this transaction, CT has significantly expanded the firm’s service oriented markets and geographic markets. EG&G, now a Division of CT Consultants, provides specialized design services and creative funding strategies for community improvement projects that help transform downtowns, neighborhoods and parks into revitalized civic assets. “The merger was due to a shared vision to provide professional services that integrates aesthetic, functional and economic factors to enhance our role as stewards of public infrastructure.” said Dave Wiles, President of CT.
In the fall of 2012, CT completed the acquisition of Floyd Browne Group, a civil engineering firm providing comprehensive water and wastewater engineering design services. The combination of the Floyd Browne acquisition and now the EG&G merger expands CT’s portfolio of services and moves the company into different geographic markets. With these two transactions staff levels have increased more than 50% within the last year. “We are delighted to formalize the merger of such a talented and well-accomplished firm in EG&G.” said Dave Wiles, President of CT. “The combined experience and skills of the two firms will allow CT to continue our long record of success.”
