Wheeling Breaks Ground on New Water Treatment Plant

On Wednesday, July 24, 2013, the City of Wheeling broke ground on its new $31 million Water Treatment Plant.  CT Consultants designed the new 12 mgd water treatment plant to be capable of meeting the existing and planned drinking water regulations under USEPA Safe Drinking Water Act.

Wheeling WTP Groundbreaking

The City of Wheeling began planning the project to replace the 90 year old facility more than 11 years ago.  CT Consultants will remain under contract with the City to provide construction administration and inspection services for the 2-year construction project.
