CT Assists “Destination Retailer” Cabela’s with New Columbus, Ohio Store

April 9, 2012

As published in the American Planning Association, Ohio Chapter’s March/April 2013 Newsletter, The Ohio Planner’s News, many communities including the City of Columbus are implementing parking restrictions on private sites to achieve broader public goals such as cleaner water by reducing runoff.  The City of Columbus’ 2010 parking ordinance, reducing the amount of parking allowed, was intended to achieve such broader goals.

With opening of Cabela’s new 80,000 sf store at Polaris, CT Consultants provided site design and landscape plans for this “Next Generation” prototype store.  While incorporating the client’s preferences, CT Consultants also assisted the retailer navigate the City’s updated parking codes to ensure the store’s parking needs were met.
